MECHANIC – HEAVY EQUIPMENT/DIESEL
Full-Time position, must be a self-starter and task-oriented. Performs preventive maintenance services, truck inspections, diagnoses, repairs vehicles, and heavy equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
*Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
*Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
*Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of diesel trucks, semi-trucks, and heavy equipment.
*Supplies own tools.
*Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
*Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
*Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
*May include some travel to job sites.
*Includes 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, paid vacation, and some prevailing wage.
Education and Experience:
*Experience: Five years of relevant work experience as a Diesel mechanic/ Heavy equipment mechanic.
*Must have CDL Class B License.
